I took this photo in my bedroom. It was me and several friends just playing around with fun looks.Time
It was the early afternoon right before lunch, we were getting hungry.Lighting
My friends and I wanted to try a "dirty" look so we played around until we found a few looks we liked.Equipment
I have a Nikon D8000 and used my 35mm lens for this look. The aperture was 1.8, no flash, all natural light coming in from the window. No tripod either, just holding the camera up.Inspiration
My friends and I are always looking for fun ways to take neat looking photos of ourselves. We have done several different photos shoots and this one was suppose to be dark and dirty. I think we got what we wanted!Editing
I use Lightroom to process my photos and on this photo I pumped up the clarity to give it that extra edge.In my camera bag
I normally keep my 50mm and stock lens in my bag, along with a cleaning rag for the lenses. I am just a hobby photographer so I haven't spent much money on equipment.Feedback
I don't think you have to have the most expensive equipment or be the most experienced photographer to get a great photo, sometimes you just have a vision and good lighting and tada!
