Location
In the studio at college campus.Time
I was working at the night time because of the schedule of the studio.Lighting
I was working with a single flash and the flash was hooked to a cord from the hotshoe. I wanted pretty soft light and didn't have an studio umbrella so with held the flash in my hand and shot the light into the wall. I told the model to flip her hair around and after a hundred frames or so, plus the girl was getting dizzy, I had the portrait I was looking for. The flash was set on a 16th of the power so the light could stay up with the motor driveEquipment
The equipment I have is a Nikon D2H camera with a 20-35 F2:8 lens with Nikon SB-800 flash because of the small space in the studio.Inspiration
I wanted something different for a portrait other than the smiley photos you always see from portraitsEditing
NopeIn my camera bag
Two Nikon D2H bodies, Nikon 20-35 F2:8 and 80-200 F2:8 lens plus Nikon SB-800 flash.Feedback
Be patient, the shot will come, but sometimes you have to work the subject till YOU get the right photo.
