Location
This photo was taken at my home in a bedroom I converted into my studio
Time
It was about 10 am
Lighting
All natural light. Although looking back I wish I had diffused the lighting just a little bit.
Equipment
Camera was my very first camera a Nikon d3100 with a kit lense. No tripod, no flash.

Inspiration
This was literally the second picture I snapped that day. The pose was inspired by Sue Bryce and a go to pose I use to get my clients comfortable in front of the camera.

Editing
This image is SOOC. Zero editing!
In my camera bag
I now have a Nikon D750 and a 50mm lense. I also still carry my trusty d3100 just in case I feel inspired to try something new.

Feedback
Know all you can about lighting and posing the more you understand the better you will be. Practice all you can and most importantly don’t wing it on a photoshoot. A lucky shot is nice but you need to be consistent.
