Bison - Yellowstone National Park. We were stopped in a long line of vehicles, which is common in Yellowstone. Another common sight in Yellowstone is people not heeding the warning signs regarding the animals. The passenger in the truck in front of us was waving a white rag or something out the window at this buffalo. We watched this for the longest time and I finally told my hubby, "I know this isn't nice, but I kind of hope the bison rams their truck". Just then the line of vehicles started to move, but not very far -- we ended up right where that truck had been. I told my hubby, "Wow, that Karma came around fast! Well, if we're gonna get rammed, I'm gonna try to get a decent photo first", lol. Fortunately, the bison must have been in a decent mood :)

The passenger in the truck in front of us was waving a white rag or something out the window at this buffalo. We watched this for the longest time and I finally told my hubby, "I know this isn't nice, but I kind of hope the buffalo rams their truck". Just then the line of vehicles started to move, but not very far -- we ended up right where that truck was and we weren't in our truck, we had taken the car so we could save on gas money. I told my hubby, "Wow, that was fast Karma. Well, if we're gonna get rammed, I'm gonna try to get a decent photo first", lol. Fortunately, the buffalo must have been in a decent mood :)

Easily! I don't think people realize how strong and fast they are, and a lot of people don't heed the warning signs regarding the wildlife. I wasn't this close to the buffalo by choice -- I explained what happened in one of my above comments . . . but I figured since we were stuck there I'd make the best of the situation and try to get a decent photo, lol.
