This is an image of Tarsier. This kind of animal can be found only in South East Asia and to be exact in Bohol, Philippines. It is one of the endangered species. It is highly protected. They look like a monkey but it is not really a monkey. One of the famous profile is its big eyes. They are nocturnal. Mind you, when I took this photo it was daytime, this tarsier was sleeping but the eyes were widely open. That was my first encounter of this kind of animal. When the earthquake struck Bohol on October 15, 2013, the first question I had in my mind was "what happened to the Tarsiers?" I am so much concerned of them because their population are just few.

very interesting creature lucky for you to have seen this. Many animals are in danger of going extinct.Human beings plays a great role in destruction as well as preserving of these endangered species. Many endangered animals live in tropical rain forest but people are destroying their habitats by cutting trees,to build roads, farms and towns.Aside from that, chemicals that pollute the environment can endanger animals.I believe the best way to save endangered species is to save their habitats. To disseminate information to the public the importance of the existence of these species.
