I had the pleasure to shoot the Nutcracker ballet dress rehearsals for an incredible production by the Dance Theater of PA last December. This is one of my favorite images because it tells a complete story. The girls were tired after two late nights of rehearsing. After the snow queen dance they sat down waiting for the critique - their shoulders slouched and their point shoes began to come off.
