Hey guys! thanks for all the wonderful comments. This was taken in key largo, FL on the wreck of USCG Cutter Duane. Depth of about 100ft. It was taken with a 5D Mark 2 and an external light.

As an advanced technical wreck instructor I spend a fair amount of my time underwater on shipwrecks. After a long penetration dive we came to the bow of the Duane and this turtle was taking a break. I always try and shoot the wildlife on the shipwrecks to help promote wreck diving and artificial reef creationEditing

5d mark iii, 70-200 ii, 14mm ii, 16-35mm, 8-15mm fisheye, 24-105mm, 100mm macro, handfuls of flashes, countless batteries and memory cards and probably a red bull or sixFeedback
My advice would be to focus on dive skills before worrying about taking underwater photos. The better your diving skills the safer taking underwater photography will be as well as having topper buoyancy will help to protect you and the underwater marine life
