Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken at Exmoor Zoo, on Exmoor in Devon, England

Time

It was taken about about mid-morning.

Lighting

This was a dull, overcast day so adjustment to the white balance on the camera was needed.

Equipment

I use a Panasonic LumixDMC- FZ150 with A Leica 25mm to 600mm wide angle lens.

Inspiration

I loved the way these two love birds were looking at each other, It's as if they were living up to their name and are in love. I also liked the way they had naturally framed themselves in the hole in the wood.

Editing

This image has only been cropped.

In my camera bag

I travel very light. I keep a tripod in my car but apart from this I usually only carry my camera.

Feedback

Even in zoo's keep a eye out for that 'Special' moment. It's still possible to capture natural images, hiding the wire, bars etc by choosing your angle.
