Location
The photo was taken in a meadow, high up on a hill above a small town of Tivat, Montenegro.Time
Some time later in the afternoon. I remember we had to walk a long way uphill to get to this lovely clear area with tall grass. It actually even began to rain! And I also managed to drop the camera from my hands and it fell down many, many stairs made of stone. All the bag luck accumulated before this photo, but in the end it turned out wonderful!Lighting
It was very cloudy, so as you can guess, we got very soft light. Also, it was taken later in the afternoon, with sun already setting. Actually not a bad setup for taking photos, lightning-wise.Equipment
Camera was Nikon D90 I believe, it was a very long time ago, with Nikon 70-300mm lens.Inspiration
I was always interested in the magical, supernatural, fantasy worlds, and the things that make them so magical. So I had a vision of a girl with roses in her hair, laying in the grass, to give this sort of a forest nymph / faerie vibe.Editing
Very very little, some small adjustments to lightning, because it may have been a bit darker than presented here.In my camera bag
My Nikon D750, sigma 35mm art lens, and an external flash.Feedback
Do what you love, realize your ideas and work hard on them, never doubt yourself. That's a must! But also, don't obsess with location of the photoshoot. This was a very simple place, just a bit secluded from people, not that hard to reach and very close to where I lived. Always try to notice places like these around yourself, give them a chance, and most importantly, make your model comfortable, and it's all gonna work out for you!
