I hope you kept your camera dry while taking this shot. It really came out beautifully. The milky look of the falls, the ice sickles, and snow shot with a long focal length. Very nicely done.

Location
The photo is taken in the north of Iceland at the waterfall "Goðafoss". The Goðafoss (waterfall of the gods or the waterfall of the goði) is one of the most spectacular waterfall of Iceland. It is located in the "Bárðardalur" district of North-Central Iceland at the beginning of the "Sprengisandur" highland road. The water of the river "Skjálfandafljót" falls from the height of 12 meters over a width of 30 meters.Time
It was taken at 15:14 (03:14 pm) April the 20th 2013.Lighting
The light was diffused by thin light skies. The sun is at the right rather low above the hills. ISO 100, Exposure 4.0 sec at f/22.Equipment
Camera used was Canon EOS 7D with the Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, tripod and a B+W ND 6BL filter. Focal lenght 15mm (24mm if referred to full frame).Inspiration
I always wanted to capture this waterfall during the winter or in the spring with ice and snow surrounding it. Also at that time the river is rather clear compared to it is muddy during the summer.Editing
Captured in RAW. Post processed in Lightroom. Exposure 0, contrast +30, highlights and whites -60, shadows and blacks + 60, clarity +56, vibrance +26, saturation +10. Tone curve highlights and lights +20, darks -10 and shadows -20. Sharpening amounth 70, radius 1.0, detail 30and masking 70. No noise reduction. In my camera bag
Canon EOS 6D camera, Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L iIS USM, Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM and Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 APO EX DG HSM OS LENSES. LEE filters BIG STOPPER (10BL) and LITTLE STOPPER (6BL). Canon SPEEDLITE 430 EX II flash. Sometimes in addition Canon 7D camera. Sets of ND filters hard and graduate, polarisers etc.Feedback
The lightning is the critical point and the long exposure. Do not use too long exposure times. I usually try to use 1.5 to 4sec. ND FILTERS 3, 6 or 10BL. In my case I had to use f/22 as I did only have 6BL FILTER.
