Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in the Alps in France close to where I live.

Time

I took it in the morning.. after the ski lifts open.. Very often the mountains have beautiful layers of mist that evaporates when the sun gets stronger

Lighting

I get out to ski often and the views change all the time. The chair lifts go above the cloud layer.

Equipment

Sony Cybershot DSC HX100V

Inspiration

I live in a beautiful area and always have my camera with me.. I see the world through kodak moments and am always ready to take a picture. I want to share the beauty of the nature that surrounds me..

Editing

I have done nothing to this picture.. I would like people to see that picture as it was and not neccessarily what it could become..

In my camera bag

I only carry this cybershot camera with me. Everything is attached securely so when I am skiing, on a chair lift or on a chain in a mountain area my camera cannot fall. It is also easy to handle with ski gloves on so I can keep my hands warm.. I would like to get a newer version.

Feedback

I am fortunate enough to spend hours out doors.. I know what time the sun rises or sets.. When the rays hit certain mountains and where I need to be to get the first rays or last rays. The weather forecast is important to me. I hike in summer and ski in winter looking for new areas to photograph..
