I took this photo in the washroom of the model's hotel room.Time
It was in the morning, however since this is taken indoors in a closed environment it doesn't really matter.Lighting
I used one 580ex2 flash to light the model, it's sitting on the toilet on the right side out of the photo frame, you can see the hot glare of the flash at the top left of the photo.Equipment
I used the Canon 5D mark2 with the 24-105mm f4 L lens as well as an 580ex2 flash.Inspiration
I wanted to take some shower photos, however the washroom was quite small and cramped and the shower took half the area as well. I only had one flash with me but luckily the whole washroom was basically in white and very reflective due to glass and light colors.Editing
I only did minimal Photoshop post-processing for the brightness, contrast and other basic things to open up the photo more.In my camera bag
Different equipment for different reasons, I carry one camera and 1-2 lenses for street photography, and one camera and 2-3 lenses, flashes, diffusers, tripod etc... for model photo shoots.Feedback
Work with whatever you have available, I liked taking photos in washrooms because they're usually painted white so one flash can bounce the light from all the walls and the ceiling and act as a massive soft box. Also work with an experienced model that knows how to use the cramped area well and how to pose in all kinds of sexy poses with seductive facial expressions. Be aware of your surroundings and where you put your equipment so you don't have any accidents and most of all be creative and open to new ideas.
