Storm Surge at St Helens 2

One from today: No shortage of these waves in my neck of the woods in 2014! I caught this crashing wave the moment a shaft of sunlight struck it! As I looked more closely at this pic I saw 3 powerful forces of nature all condensed in one violent & strangely beautiful impact on the small pier of St Helens! 1 - surging high tides (lunar gravitation) 2 - wind (rotating planet) & 3 – light (solar energy). To see all these natural forces in full throttle reminds one of who’s really boss on this little blue planet!
