Behind The Lens
Location
I took this in my backyard in Jacksonville, Florida. My wife has a terrific green thumb, and the Chinese hibiscus were blooming all over. I thought a macro look at the stamen might make for an interesting shot.Time
Right around mid-day, but some of the hibiscuses get a little shade at different times of the day.Lighting
Nothing fancy here. I wanted a tight macro shot and needed plenty of definition.Equipment
This was with a Canon EOS Rebel T7 using a Sigma 105mm Macro lens.Inspiration
Looking for beauty in all the right places.Editing
I don't remember exactly but my normal procedure is to use PhotoScape X Pro for some sharpening, cropping and some color depth, followed by Topaz Photo AI to get rid of as much noise as I can.In my camera bag
Canon Rebel T7, Sigma 105mm macro, Canon 17-55mm, Canon 24-70mm and Tamron 18-400mm. Extension tubes, filters, peak design travel tripod, etc.Feedback
Keep shooting.
