During spring in the Far North of Finnish Lapland, the male reindeers fight eachother for females. During the heavy fights, the skin on the antlers comes of and leaves bloody, naked antlers. The one on this photo clearly just had a fight. Taken in Pallas National Park in the far north of Finnish Lapland.
