One of the most beautiful places to visit in South Iceland is an Icelandic beach called Reynisfjara. It lies approximately 110 miles (180 km) from Reykjavik and features an amazing cliff of regular basalt columns resembling a rocky step pyramid, called Gardar.
It can be a dangerous place thus extreme caution must be observed at all time. The weather can be very very tricky, as it changes so quickly.
