A Drop of water on the Thorn of a rose refracting a whole rose. The purple/black background is bokeh rose that the droplet is refracting.

This image is pretty much straight from the camera. The refracted rose and lens flair/star-burst is real :-)
<br><br>
Shot with the Sony Alpha a77 using the Sony 100mm f2.8 Macro Lens. Three flashes, and a bounce card were used.

Thank you! It was a fun shot to create... though required a lot of precision to get the rose refracted in the droplet while simultaneously having that same rose provide the main background purple color bokeh :-)

Great capture, Love the detail of the rose in the droplet, can I ask one thing? As I take these images a lot myself, I just wondered if the refraction is mirrored??
