Nice photo, yet I'm not sure if I find the dog in background is a nice touch or distracting.

Nice mood and colors... the dog in the background takes attention away from your subject though,..IMHO

Thanks guys :) I chose not to edit the dog out because I feel he adds interest to an otherwise typical girl/river shot. I like to think of him as a storytelling element as well. Plus he was there lol.

I love this... the dog in the background does add story line in my opinion and brings even more depth into your image. It is like it completes the girl and shows she is in this lovely place with her dog. It is actually the element that drew me to click on the image. But of course the girl is in lovely light and is the main subject! Well done!
