After two days of travelling around Tasmania taking photos, I was nearly ready to write off the trip as a failure. After a disappointing sunset at Freycinet, I decided to head home down south to Hobart. Knowing the moon would be rising soon, I decided to try my luck on a small beach, not expecting much, but figured I'd be disappointed if I didn't at least try. The resulting image made the whole trip worth it. This isn't a manipulation, only minor exposure alterations and some spot removal

Cheers. To make the stars pop I used the adjustment brush in lightroom to apply some midtone enhancements. I localised it just to the stars, as it was just the milky way I wished to draw out. It didn't need much, I think +30 did the job
