This image is a long exposure taken during sunset on a small remote Island in the Middle East. I was on an assignment for a shoot on the island and driving down this long empty expanse of beach I could see the remnants of this dhow sticking out of the water in the surf. I went back and spent a few hours taking pictures with sunset and starry skies in the background. I used a light to gently paint the boat during the exposure just to bring it out a little in the final product.
