On our awesome adventure to the Scottish highlands we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the northern lights and the Milky Way. The skies in Skye are so dark it's unbelievable, the stars look so punchy and the Milky Way is visible to the eye. This shot was taken from our extremely amazing little wigwam ( wigwam_holidays ). About an hour after this shot we drove 5minutes up the road to the old man of stor and the aurora was really dancing across the sky! Quite stunning and a treat I wasn't expecting in Scotland.
