Thanks for the kind comment. A little history behind the picture was as I was coming home from work the moon was large and bright orange, Time I got home the moon was changing colour and night was falling. I decided to take some photo's anyway. I found a dark spot and started shooting loads and loads different lengths and time delays. Although this was not the picture I wanted to get in the first instance, I'm pleased with the result.

Did you layer the full moon onto the star field with photoshop? The reason I ask is the stars wouldn't be visible because of the moon's brightness level.
