One evening we visited a famous cave near the Khao Yai National Park in Thailand. Our guide told us that every evening millions of bats leave the cave for hunting. The weather was perfect for mid-July and the sunset dyed the sky orange. Around 6 pm the spectacle started, millions of bats left the cavern in groups of thousands and thousands. Soon it became clear why the bats left in such huge numbers: birds of prey. The photo shows the exact moment when one predator caught a bat.
