I live in Northern CA and frequent many local groves, and as much as I'm amazed by redwoods, they are frustrating in a way because their awesomeness can never quite be captured on film. They are something you need to see for yourself. This is a beautiful shot though! Well done!!

Thank you. This is the "Isaac Newton Tree." It is the 7th largest coastal Redwood. It stands 299' tall and has a diameter of 22.5' at chest height. The burl above my head weighs some 40,000lbs...!
