This was the dark of night. The only light came from the city lights. I was at the top of the Žižkov Television Tower, an oddity, if you may, that stands out in a city of ancient, traditional, and even Gothic buildings and architecture.
At any rate, that's where I was at almost 790 feet (the height of the tower) on the observatory level. Oddly enough, there's also a bar and restaurant there for, I think, private parties. I digress.
The observatory level is surrounded by glass. The glass has a patchwork of reflections coming from the bar, so taking this picture was NOT easy. To top that, not to blow my own horn or anything, I had to do multiple long exposure shots at different exposures in order pick up every speck of light in the city. Handheld. The knee makes a great (and cheap) tripod in these cases. Did I mention this was in the dead of night?
