I've rarely seen storms in Oregon with huge bolts of lightning so when the weather said there would be possible thunderstorms in the Gorge I knew I had to get out there and capture it. While I didn't get any bolts I got a really dramatic sunset that burned for about half an hour and had some incredible color. I set the camera for a timelapse and combined 500ish exposures to create the painter like whisping clouds in this shot. I did get to meet another fellow photographer @7b_kirk on this adventure, make sure to go check and out his feed!
