On my first day in Yosemite, I got up early, packed up my gear, and headed out for a day of shooting. After hiking about a mile, I came across this beautiful meadow. There was a herd of deer grazing on the northside and this beautiful stand of Aspen trees on the south side. As the sun peaked out from behind Half Dome, the rays illuminated the leaves of the trees like a spotlight. It was quite a sight to see but it only lasted for about 10 minutes. I feel blessed that I was there to see and capture the moment.
