I was lucky enough to visit the town of Husavik on my journey around the Ring Road in Iceland. One of the nicer small towns I stayed at, it is a great place for whale watching and good home base for visiting the major attractions north Iceland has to offer.
This photo was made at around 2:30am at the Kaldbaks-kot Cottages. There was a sea of lupine in June and the sunrise glow was just perfect—clipping the flowers and lighting the barn and mountains behind. Interesting clouds shaped the shot nicely.
