During a spectacular and rarely seen show from Wellington the Aurora Australis lit up the sky with it's stunning airy glow, i had no idea there was going to be any this night but after the first test shots i was thrown into overdrive setting up a timelapse on one camera and shooting some single frames with the other. This is one image of my timelapse setup just as the southern lights erupted into what was one of the best i have seen, it lasted half the night ending around midnight.. this is one I'll never forget
