In June I went to Germany for assigments where this photo was taken. At the very end of the shoot with Annika and Fernando, dark clouds rolled in with thunder and heavy rain. Just a few minutes after this photo was taken we rushed to the stables, seeking shelter from the thunderstorm.

We managed to capture the atmosphere with Annika and Fernando looking towards the darkness approaching and feeling the electric, sultry winds. The upper branches adds to the mysterious feel of it all and makes me want to be there with them again in the twilight adventure <3

I just wanted to leave a quick note to say thank you for participating in my "Portraits on Location" challenge. While I ultimately chose another photo as the winner, this one was one of my 100 favorites in a field that was just shy of 2000 entries.
