A gently winding snow covered stream lies frozen in time for a few winter months. In stark contrast cone-shaped almost snowless black spruce point upward giving the landscape a spiny covering. It is late in the day as evidenced by the long shadows that stretch out from the trees for a distance that is much longer than they are tall. The cold blue light of winter turns slightly warm as sunset approaches.
