Just a content fox enjoying the light snowfall. During the editing process, I really gravitated to the soft components of the image. I vividly remember the stillness that surrounded this moment and wanted to ensure the final version of this photo portrayed the same sense of calmness I felt during the encounter. I always love documenting wildlife as they endure the rugged elements of the American West, but as challenging as things are for these animals, there are also moments of peace that show a different perspective of their environment. These experiences are just as important to capture in order to generate a different level of understanding and overall appreciation.
