I faced three challenges during this shoot at Lake Rotoiti in the north west of New Zealand's South Island. First, I had to wait for ages for the selfie snappers to conclude their business, then I had to contend with a local flock of swooping sea gulls who decided to have a meeting on the jetty, and finally drizzle and rain set in to make shooting long exposures a bit of a challenge. But a bit of sunset colour in the moody clouds made it all worthwhile.
