I'm very glad I got up early this morning. I heard there might be some mist but knew it wasn't going to last long. So driving to my usual haunt, I decided to take a different route where there was some open fields and the odd stopping area.
As I drove along I could see the sun starting to peek over the horizon, a wonderful orange orb lighting up the morning sky. The next minute I saw it sat above some farm buildings. Reversing back into the farm entrance and quickly grabbing the camera the scene before me was stunning. The sun was just creeping above the barn and the low lying mist was clinging bravely to the fields.
Naturally it didn't last long and I was blocking the entrance :) But happy with this shot.
