I travel to the Bay Area quite often and I try to make it a point to visit the Golden Gate Bridge a few times a year. Each time I go there, the weather is different and the bridge takes on another look. On this clear star filled night, I wanted to capture star trails to prove that you can do it with light pollution present and I wanted to catch some of the aerial activity from the airport. This exposure was taken as follows:
Sony Alpha 850
Zeiss 16-35 mm
ISO 400
F4.5
8 seconds
Tungsten White Balance
166 shots stacked with Startrails.exe and then processed a bit in Lightroom. It is a busy shot, but that was the idea.

I love this.. The idea of the crazy airplane lines with the consistent star trails is wonderful!...
