We are in Port Hedland, Western Australia, at the Fortescue Metals Group iron ore port facility. This machine is called a recoverer and it scopes up stockpiled ore and loads it on a conveyor belt for movement to the ships. Located in the iron ore rich Pilbara region of Western Australia, Fortescue is the world's fourth largest iron ore producer.
