Living in Arizona I can safely say we have some of the best sunsets and sunrises around. The evening of July 14th on my way home I remember thinking to myself that I think it’s going to be a good one and I need to get out and shoot it.

I came home, made dinner for the family then packed my gear and family into the SUV and headed to one of my favorite (and closest) spots to photograph. I’m sure if you’ve been following my photography these silos look familiar. I love to photograph them because they are in the heart of Arizona and you would have thought I took this on a farm in the midwest. Yes, we have cacti and desert, but that is only part of the Arizona landscape. There is a such a beautiful diversity in our landscape that most people don’t know about. And as many times as I have shot these silos on Morrison Bro’s Ranch every shot is unique just like the Arizona landscape.
