The Kittyhawk flew with a number of RAAF squadrons in WWII and proved critical in the desperate efforts to defend Darwin, Milne Bay and Port Moresby in 1942. This stunningly beautiful aircraft is owned by Allan Arthur, and was built in 1943.

My Father was in 4 fighter squadron of the South African Air Force, stationed in Egypt and Italy they flew the Kittyhawk and Tomahawk in their squadron. Such a beautiful shot.
