Another month spent under the starry sky at one of my favorite location - Mangart saddle. Once again, it was quite a gamble with the weather. The afternoon was not very promising, tho in the evening the sky cleared, but after a few hours after midnight, the situation changed again. Despite that, two friends and myself managed to capture quite a few meteors and push to realisation most of our plans . All in all, this was my favorite astro - photo experience so far.
On the image we can see a full Milky way panorama, this time in the company of Perseid meteors. This is the last time we gonna see Milky way core till the spring of 2022, on the other hand, we welcome the return of winter constellations.
The king of the image is without a doubt Mangart, followed by Jalovec and Loška stena wall. In the distance there is also visible the village of Log pod Mangartom.

Wow that's so cool - I can't even imagine the amount of time & effort not only to take the picture but also post-process it.

Thanks a lot! It took quite some time, but it was fun - I had a blast photographing and hanging out with friends that night.
