It was taken completely by accident, in one very unusual place....
I live on the Island of Ciovo, so…. surrounded by the sea and small fishing boats. Long time ago most people from Ciovo where fishermen, until mass tourism. Since then, progressively, forests are being devastated due to forced apartmentization and also small traditional fishing boats are slowly dissapearing, No one wants to be a fisherman anymore. Everyone wants to be rich apartment renters.
In the most beautiful bays on Ciovo… theres almost no trees anymore… and all day long you can hear harmonious sound of drilling machines destroying everything …
This little fishing boat stood broken and discarded next to the main road. I was returning from the night shift from work and I saw that abandoned boat…not by the sea, but on top of Ciovo…. 128m high and 4 km away from the sea.. so sad!
This broken boat represents ten more destroyed trees, and two new apartments…. HE LOST HIS PURPOSE and part of Ciovo nature HAS LOST LIFE.
My DSLR is always with me, in the car.... so I stopped, took a DSLR and my flashlight… and that`s it…..
