Continuation of my moon theme.
This is two separate images blended together in post-processing with Photoshop. The shot of the Flatiron was taken in Boulder, Colorado with a Nikon D3100. I love shooting here because the sun sets behind the mountains and the tip of the flatiron is always the last to go into the shade. You can kind of see that here. The photo of the moon was actually through a friend's telescope. I've increased the clarity and dropped the opacity a large amount to give it a clearer feel. If I were to redo this, I think I would fade the moon out even more to bring more focus to the mountain.

Triple wow!!! I thought how ON EARTH did you do this amazing imagery. Then I read your explanation. Way out of my league but has given me belief that sometimes post processing can be truly worth it.

Right on! Knew this was the flat irons as soon as looked at it but thought how the hell did he get the moon right there. Lol Well then I read the description of the photo. A+ still in my book!
