Was in Las Vegas for a convention, and drove out to Red Rock Canyon to do their driving loop. It was raining in Vegas at the time, but as we approached the canyon, it started snowing. By the time we entered the canyon, it was a full out snowstorm with inches of accumulation in just minutes. Totally took me by surprise to see snow in the middle of the desert. The views were amazing, though!
