Isn't the early morning light in forests fantastic?
I love the way the light penetrates through the trees, changing the dark haunting atmosphere into the warmth and promise of a new day. The birds chirp their way through the dawn chorus and the undergrowth comes to life.
I'm not entirely sure of the location as I was driving through the forest when I saw the light and decided to take the next opportunity to stop and try to capture it. It is somewhere on the road between Hohneck and Colmar.
