The Crown Range is quickly becoming one of our favourite spots to shoot the Milky Way, there are countless areas to explore and find new and interesting compositions.
We had seen this area of the mountain a few times before and thought it would look awesome with one of us on top, looking out into the centre of our galaxy. We worked out what time the core would be in the right position and headed back there when the conditions were right.
To get this field of view we had to create a 5 shot pano and the scale of the image makes you realise how small we really are.
