Much time had passed since Emily was first created and Emily had grown darker and darker with hate for the Dollmaker. She knew that the Dollmaker was obsessed with perfection and that the only way to free herself from her control was to inflict damage upon herself. Her black magic had finally grown so powerful that she was able to find a way to snap one of the strings that had kept her prisoner for so long. This is one of my favourite images in the whole project; I just love both of the expressions as they explain the story perfectly.
