This is a macro photo of the threaded end of a well rod. Captured early mid-morning the reflected light of the sun off the metallic surface was compelling. Keeping the photo’s natural colors and giving it a black background helped make the lines, shadow, and texture of the threads more abstract looking.

Thanks very much - editing is a stretch for me as I have little experiance. I was totally taken with the threads lighting and with the abstract look the black background gave this composition.
