In the wake of the violence that we all must endure in the world, I created this photo. The dark rocky earth and barren trees symbolizes the pain, harshness and loss of the worlds violence. It is obscure and understood, cold, damp and dark; it is where we live. The lens, fallen from a hikers glasses, is a loss in itself, yet it reveals a hint of happiness of blue sky's. Dark Worlds may contain blues sky's, we just have to, stop, look and struggle to see it.
