Since I have had so many wonderful comments I felt I should give a little information on this photo. I am an amateur photographer and I have been serious about photography for about 3 years. This image was taken at a horse photography workshop very close to Santa Barbara, CA. We did a shoot at sunset above the vineyards. The girl on the horse is a professional model and competitive rider. The incredible dress was handmade for the shoot using a parachute to create the skirt. A stunning Andalusian Stallion completed the picture. There were numerous women and several men in costume on various horses. They rode and posed while each photographer was free to use their own creativity in how they would capture the riders. The stallion's forelock, main and tail require constant braiding and maintenance to maintain its beauty and length. I have photographed many horses since we breed Arabians for show and so I have some experience capturing their images. I never tire of photographing such incredibly beautiful and intelligent creatures. Later, the editing was the finishing touch. The only change I really made other than normal editing was to add a hint of green to the entire image. In addition, I lightened both her and the horse's face since their back was to the light. I think that Llightroom and Photoshop really can take your images to the next level. You can edit out minor flaws and then add sharpness and vibrance that really bring out the beauty in your shot. It is rare to have an opportunity to take photos like this but good editing can make all your photos come alive. This was taken with a D750 and 70-200 F2.8 Nikon Lens Thank you for looking at my photos! Update August 2019. Sadly I have to share that the beautiful Andulusian Stallion in this image passed away due to a ruptured Aorta that occurred during breeding.

oooo, this is simply stunning, fantastic composure, beautifully exposed with the dress being lit perfectly. The mane of the horse just blend beautifully, and the hair on the model, well that's just outstanding- gorgeous image!
