There are certain moments in life where I just stop and think to myself, "is this real"? This was one of those days. I captured this photo of a pod of Spinner Dolphins, which I have done a hundred times before, but this was special. The clarity of the water, the shallow depth, the natural lighting that pierced the surface at that exact time of day.
I feel like I am living in a dream sometimes and amidst the mundane, everyday things, like trying to pay the bills or put food on the table, something so amazing will happen that those things just dissapear ... even for those few short minutes. I don't ever want to stop exploring and get in a rut to where I never want to see new things or travel or try something new and exciting. I have witnessed so many people succumb to the entanglement of normalcy over the years. They get so comfortable or indifferent to their circumstances and location in life that they feel trapped. They never feel like they can amount to anything or go beyond their comfort zone (figuratively and literally) and experience new things or new places and people. I can't be that person. I have to keep exploring. I have to keep opening my eyes and my mind wider so that I can see this wonderful world and all the beauty that it holds. I will not let fear trap me and tell me that I can't do, can't go, can't experience something. I hope this inspires you to get out and explore.
