Photographed entirely underwater as a single shot - everything you see in the image is real.

A series about the moment before the meeting of conscious reality. The uncertainty of the outcome reflected in a distorted unclear reflection of ourselves, drawing us toward it but promising nothing. The project was shot entirely underwater to accentuate the effect of being suspended in time and space, the point between sleep and waking. There is no certainty in that moment, just an unclear reflection showing a number of possible outcomes – some we welcome and some we fear.
